Andre Rivera joins the Main Street Vineland team in 2026 as our new associate director, tasked with business development and outreach. Andre is no stranger to Main Street Vineland, as he first got involved as a volunteer in 2018 to help us organize our first 5K run (Running The Ave 5K – now in its eighth year), and was recognized as volunteer of the year in 2019. Andre began working for the City of Vineland Community Development Program in 2021 and serves as the neighborhood liaison for the Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) grant, which was awarded to the City of Vineland and operated by Main Street Vineland. He now joins us part-time while continuing his work with the Community Development office.
Born and raised in North Vineland, Andre has a great passion for development of all kinds in this city and wants to be a part of the positive changes that can bring it to the next level. He currently lives with his partner and 2 stepsons in Pittsgrove Twp. and owns and operates Second Capital Running, a Vineland-based running company that produces over 30 events a year in Cumberland, Salem, and Cape May Counties.
